The chain reaction brought about by the end of the real estate era is painful and continuous. In the face of this dilemma, we discussed with the owner and hoped to try to reactivate these legacy issues through an intervention of "ambiguous identity".
The old sales center belongs to the last era in terms of structure and appearance. How to revitalize it in line with the current consumer group portrait is our focus. Based on the limited cost budget, we proposed to only demolish the front wall and replace it with a more open and transparent glass curtain wall material; the outer skin of the projecting glass bricks, with warm wooden vertical traffic platform components, formed a "thickened" building skin and a flexible event space. The skin is no longer fixed and rigid, but becomes a theater stage covered with gauze, vaguely revealing the tense "drama event" behind it.
The appearance of the building has changed from the previous closed and old to open and vivid, and the boundaries and sights between the inside and the outside are no longer separated. As a result, the identity of the building has become flexible and diverse. It can be imagined that in the future, whether it is exhibition, sales, learning or office, it will become a part of the community life that is closely integrated.

老旧的销售中心无论结构还是面貌均属于上个时代,如何让他重新焕发活力符合当下消费群体画像是我们重点关注的。在有限的造价预算基础上,我们提案仅仅拆除正面的墙体,换以更加开放透明的玻璃幕墙材料;外挑的玻璃砖外表皮,配以温暖的木质竖向交通平台构件,形成了“加厚的”建筑表皮,形成灵活的事件空间,表皮不在固定呆板,而是变成如薄纱覆盖的剧场舞台,隐约透露背后富有张力的“戏剧事件”。
建筑面貌由之前的封闭陈旧变的开放生动,内外的边界与视线不再割裂,由此建筑的身份变的灵活多样,可以想象未来无论是展览,销售,学习或办公都会成为与该社区生活紧密结合的一部分。
